The First Annual Chicago Chalk Champ sponsored Chalk Art Festival at Winston Plaza is August 8, 2015 at Winston Plaza, Melrose Park, IL. The theme is “Celebrate Summer!”

50 Artists will Celebrate Summer with vibrant colors provided by Champ Sticks ™ and the public will be voting on their favorites via Twitter! 

There will be many categories also receiving awards ($3000.00 in gift cards!). Those prizes will be awarded by Chicago Chalk Champ, Shaun Hays and judged  by a panel of worthy artists assembled for this event.

Meet Amanda Paulson:

Shaun Says: “Amanda is a premier Artist right in Chicago as well as for clients across America. I often refer her without hesitation and she refers me too.  she is pro all the way. Her lettering and muralist ability is simply awesome. She will be a great addition on Aug 8th. I am proud to have her as a judge for this event!” 
Shaun Hays, Chicago Chalk Champ is coordinating with Winston Plaza in Melrose Park, Numark Merril, Sparkles Entertainment, and a slew of sponsors to make this event a huge success and to make it free to the public and participating artists! He will also be a judge at the event, passing out trophies to upcoming and established chalk artists!

The final Judge announcement has been delayed from being revealed to the public. Hmmm I wonder what thats about?

Come out this Saturday, August 8, 2015 to watch (or make) the colorful event take place! Artists begin at 9am and registration is still open and free!
